safc…..I only found ref.to Thomas B. by chance and wondered if he was a son of Uncle Joe and Auntie Barbara ..although Joe jnr. was often talked about in the family I don't ever recall mention of Thomas..
You never know what you will uncover...

Did not know details about Thomas B. that was the 2nd son they lost in 3 years Joe jnr. died aged 17 in 1938 following an accident .

Dea..Thanks for looking is says you can view his MS records on FMP..but he obviously doesn't show.....

He died at sea, aboard the Almeda Star on 17 January 1941, aged 18, birthplace Wallsend

Commemorated on the Tower Hill memorial in London

Parents Joseph and Barbara of Ascot, Berkshire

I would appreciate if someone with FMP / Ancestry will access the details of a Thomas Bernard Reay born 1922 Northumberland .
Family search shows he was Merchant Seaman. He possibly died in WW2.
