Hello,

I am trying to trace my mum’s birth father. His name was Paul Vanburgh or Vanberg.

My Mum was born on 28th May 1961 at Whittington Hospital in Islington, London. Her birth mother was Bridget McCormick. Paul was 30 years old at the time of the birth, so he was born around 1931 in England. He was working as a chartered accountant at the Israeli Embassy in London. He was also a non-practicing Jew.

Any info. no matter how small would be great.

Have you looked on FreeBMD for his birth

There's no birth at all with any variations of the surname on FreeBMD

Found it on FreeBMD Shirley but I don't think I have the right one as I found a marriage for him in 1955 and Natasha says that 'her' Paul was not married?

I will send you a ccopy of what I sent to Natasha.
