The above married Simon Moore Wilton in Liskeard, Cornwall 1883. Children ... Elizabeth Jane 1884 Liskeard ... Married Owen Westwood Joseph Moore Wilton decQ 1887 Penzance Annie Moore Wilton 1886 Truro, lives with Samuel Callaghan, 3 children .. Then ...Cornelius Callaghan, 3 children. She was with Cornelius in 1939 . Leonard Moore Wilton, last child born 20.8.1889, common hill, Liskeard.
I cannot find Annie Wilton nee Townsend, or any of the children in 1891
I DO know that Leonard died in ww1 and willed to his sister Elizabeth Jane Westwood.
It appears that Simon was not with Annie after Leonard's birth. He was some sort of travelling work, labourer. On one birth cert, which another family member holds, he was a razor grinder, and I suspect 'cutler' in 1891 and said to be 'single', so disappears from the family picture.
As Annie is not found on census, we did not know where she was born, which is not helpful.
Any ideas please..?
