	Something doesn't add up....... ..................they say in 1911 married 10 years, 4 children born........two of whom have died Unfortunately, Lancs BMD does not yet show MMN on Salford births

	10 years married in 1911 would indicate a marriage in 1901 - not 1896. Have you looked for the marriage on Lancashire BMD site, which ties up partners in a marriage.

Member Since: March 2005 Posts: 53 Send Message	Hi, I have located a family in the 1891 census and can find them in the 1911 census but not the 1901 census. Census 1891 for Pendleton, Salford shows Thomas b1866 Manchester m Mary Connell b 1869 (d1894) Correction - edit:-(death 1894 not 1891) with 3 children: Margaret 1888, Sarah 1890 and Thomas 1892. Mary died 1891 and it appears that Thomas remarried to Mary Ellen Paton in 1896. The 1911 census shows Thomas (senior) and Mary married for 10 years with Thomas (jnr) and 4 more additions , May, 1897, Florrie, Rosie and Martin. Any thoughts on why they are missing from 1901 census please?
