no just don't want to upset ppl by doing it wrong just need a plan

how do i go about tracking these people my self iv seen the info what you have shown me its very helpful but how do you get there whats the easiest way to find a clear path if that makes sense :-)

OOOps - I didn't see you there Adelle.

The plan would be to start with your nana and work back steadily from her, keeping to parents and grandparents etc. to begin with.

Once you are sure that you have all those correct, then you can start to explore the siblings, one by one, working backwards and forwards on each of them individually.

Only then should you attempt to follow the families of the spouses etc.

A good place to start is from the last census, 1911, that tells you the total number of children born and number of those surviving. With luck you can work out who has died from the previous census detail. then you can look for deaths on Freebmd.org.uk , it is a really good site and easy to use when you have practiced a bit :-)
