There only seems to be one Walter b1876 Greenwich on BMDs but the only baptism I can find is for a Walter with father John

We still aren't sure what happened to Henry Buckley though, or why Ada gave her father's name as Buckley and not Harling.

Her brother's baptism is on Ancestry - I will look it up and post. Also, there is a very long gap between Henry and Elizabeth's marriage and the birth of the first child and we haven't found them in 1871.

Elizabeth and Eliza were sisters - same father's name and occupation on marriages and if you trace the census back, they are together

The PR of Henry & Elizabeth's marriage is on Ancestry. His occupation - blacksmith; father: Richard - waterman.

Henry Harling in the 1881 is a labourer in brickfields - so probably too different men. Maybe Elizabeth lived with Henry Harling as his wife and reverted to Buckley when he left/died?

OH!!! safc Im excited now! going to mail sister in law right now....WELL DONE everyone :-D

Still doesn't give us a clue as to why Ada was shipped away. :-|
