Sorry Ann, you've lost me.............

Was your grandmother really born in 1859?

And if your mother's birth name was Boyd - surely your grandmother would have had that surname?

"my grandmother married Charles Boyd born 1857 they are in the 1901 census"

For which country, Ann?

ErikaH

ErikaH Report 28 May 2012 22:04

Mentioning Fraser would not have confused us - we need facts on which to base our attempts to help you

ErikaH

ErikaH Report 28 May 2012 22:02

Ann

You aren't helping us to help you

Why do you think that John Hamilton's daughter had a mother who was originally Margaret Tully?

You're jumping from Hamilton to Fraser with no obvious connection.

Please don't refer to people by their relationship to you - use only their given names, so as not to confuse things even further

ellieathome

ellieathome Report 28 May 2012 21:38

Yes thought you had made a mistake,so
John Frazer +Margaret Tully ( Marr 1854 Glasgow)
John Hamilton + Margaret Tully
Ellen Hamilton c 1864+ Charles Boyd c1857
Your Mother

Is that right

ellieathome
Edit- Ann Norra Frazer 1859 could not be the Mother of Ellen Hamilton c1864

Ann
