	Hi everyone. I am looking to try and trace back my mothers side of the family but have immediately hit problems. My mum's dad was a coal miner in Pleasley, near Mansfield in Nottinghamshire and died in 1974. He was born in 1906. The only record I can find in the 1911 census has his parents as Ernest and Eliza Hannah, with siblings Beatrice Alice, Eliza Hannah, Ernest, William, and John Robert. However, although my mother doesn't remember her grandparents and cannot give me details of them, she remembers that her dad had brothers Ernest and William and sisters Nelly and Ida, which doesn't match the above record. I'm going to send for my grandfather's birth certificate but before I do I thought I would ask on here. Thanks Wayne
