Celia

It's very clear we cannot find her, so you go further out and see if she pops up somewhere!

It's very unlikely he'd leave anything to a relative he was no longer in constant communication with.... and this makes her more likely to be in America with him?

Tracey, I think Celia knows that the brother (who made the will) is her own grandmother's brother, and Laura Mary (or vice versa) was their sister.

I assume she's checked emigration records for the brother, or maybe the will is in her possession. ??

WayneTracey

WayneTracey Report 12 Mar 2010 19:06

Ok this might sound daft, but what evidence do you have to tie in the people we have found to the people in the will?

How sure are you these people are English and not American?

OK, on looking at the image for Samuel Charles Jones, his marriage is in Birkenhead, 8a 1070

Here's his 'set'

Marriages Jun 1908
DIX Gertrude Birkenhead 8a 1070
Francis Frederic William Birkenhead 8a 1070
Jones Samuel Charles Birkenhead 8a 1070
Stanley Elizabeth Gertrude Birkenhead 8a 1070

Doesn't give you the answers for the missing Rugby set.

Ginny,

There is a very bad error in that marriage set, 2 for Rugby and 1 for Brum, impossible?

I would suggest they are all maybe Rugby?

Thanks all of you

Gee

Gee Report 12 Mar 2010 18:09

It doesnt prove they acutally married!

And if they did, I think the 'missing' female would be your best bet if you buy the certificate
