good morning Sylvia....yep..they were first cousins.....there are so many Grattons.Ferns. and Marples at Bonsall..that I could probably show all sorts of relationships between them........depends on how far you want to go with your Family Tree..........I have previously researched the Marple family for somebody on GR.....it's a massive Derbyshire family. |

Hello Sylvia.....no occupations till well into the 19th Century..usually on Marriage Records..recording Father's Occupation, and of cours on the Censuses 1841 onwards. |

Good morning Sylvia..I can confirm all of your findings except there is a gap in the Bonsall Baptisms1745-1750..so ADAM SMEDLEY is approximate..He died 08.01.1809 aged 61..giving approc dob 1748. |
