You are right, the marriage seems very late so unlikely to be yours - but what a co-incidence! Keep it on the back-burner just in case it belongs in your family somewhere.

Dear Mel & Kay,

I downloaded the 1911 census for Fanny Bennett...Jack pot!!!!

I found all the information and more! It turns out that it wasnt grandfather that was married before but grandmother! there all on there. This is brilliant, thank you so much.

I have to go now and do some work but will come back later to see if you have looked at that 1911 for Fanny. You can buy credits on the site I gave you I think 36.95 for so many is the cheapest. If you look at the transcription only it is 10 credits and will also give you the address. If you go for the actual census it is 10 credits. It should have how long the parents have been married on the actual form for 30 credits.

i know about them from memory and searching and family records. I believe there births are correct.
