Yeah the issue is the birth i have found is actually down south... so we are back to square one...

There is no birth record for Annie E Peckitt in Leeds in 1870... This means Annie may well have inherited the Peckitt surname.... hang on. What if the Croser marriage is correct?? there should be an Annie E Croser birth??

....Grr i need to wake up a bit!!!!

ithink the best option is to get annie e peckitt.s birth certt but did we find a 100% match for her birth cos on the 1881 census where she is with henry cromack & her mother as his stp daughter it states she is henrys step daughter age 11 & it says she was born leeds ummmm

Thinking out loud, if you cannot find her on the 1861 census is possible she had changed her name by then.

So the earlier 2 options maybe possibles?

Tracey

Tatton is covered by the Altrincham District. All these are possibles?

the missing man on the 1864 marraige page is EDWARD CROSSLEY just found it on the yorkshire bmd page wil check that out

WayneTracey

WayneTracey Report 23 Jan 2009 10:24

Well it's a gamble, but you either need the marriage with the missing man...or the better option is Annie's birth cert.

Annie's birth cert will give you ALL of Elizabeth's former names...

It maybe she never offically married Thomas.... she just said she was!
