I have letters from my Great x 4 Grandmother, Ellen Beatty to my Great x 3 grandfather Isaac Beattie. Dated 1864/1865.
These letters mention William, Isabella & child Reid.. my theory is Isabella was Isaacs sister..Isabella was also present at Ellens death in 1873...Do you have info that can help?

Hi there.. sorry..thinking rather than typing!
I am trying to find any siblings of my GGG Grandfather Isaac Beattie (born abt 1825 in possibly Rathfriland) and more information about his parents. Ellen (abt 1787 - 1873) and William Beatty.
The letters I have talk about Isabella & William Reid, and I am hoping someone out there may have them in their family tree ... I know Isaac had one sister called Sarah Beatty (from the letters) but his mother was 40 when she had him.. so I doubt there were only 2 of them. I'd love to find any other siblings ..
