Tracy - Do NOT close the thread - DO NOT delete it - leave it here so that when you get the cert we can look back on it and see what has been found.

Best of luck - DO send for it and let us know what you find out !!

Best wishes,

Send for the birth cert that someone has already given you the reference for and when you get it you will have parents' names and we can work back from there.

no in 1901 she is in an orphanage
In 1891 we think she is living with grandparents

Tracey

Tracey Report 19 Jun 2008 19:53

1901 census, it has totally lost me, someone thinks she may have lived with her grandpaernts

brubra

brubra Report 19 Jun 2008 19:49

I would send off for Inze's birth cert that would tell you the names of her parents

brubra

brubra Report 19 Jun 2008 19:48

which children? the ones on the 1901 census are orphans. The ones in the 1891 census are probably aunts and uncles (children of Thomas and Jane)

Tracey

Tracey Report 19 Jun 2008 16:48

can you help me workout re family situation fromm above census, looking for inze parents, confused to who all the children are and who they belong to, lol.

Jill 2011 (aka Warrior Princess of Cilla!) Report 18 Jun 2008 22:49

In 1891 Thomas and Jane are her grandparents.

It's possible one of the daughters is her mother ... but equally possible that she is staying with her grandparents whilst her mum is having another baby or not well or something. Difficult to be sure. All of the children are shown as single.

Perhaps your best bet would be to send off for the birth cert that someone found above. If her mum is one of the daughters in the 1891 household it would confirm that for you.

Tracey,

Have you once again deleted a thread - the one that was on the Records Board earlier today - ref Inza Hirst.

Members are going over and over the same information and you keep deleting the threads.

Why !!!!!
