Sarah Gertrude Reid was my paternal grandmother who was born in Glasgow in 1892. She had sisters Lillian, Margaret and Katie (1890, 1894, and 1896) who I believe were all born in Glasgow. Sarah married my grandfather, Charles Benjamin Kiss in London. I have the name of her father as James Reid, a labourer, who had passed away at the time of Sarah's marriage in 1922, but can anyone help with any information regarding Sarah's mother? I can't see the family in the census, but if you order their marraige cert if will list her father's name and occupation and make the search easier. I also couldn't see a birth a Sarah Grace of the right age on Scotland's People |
