Trying to find any REIDS from Edinburgh, St Cuthberts/Duddingston/Portobello/St'Giles. My grandadfather Thomas Bremner Reid's family were born in these districts. Would like any Reids from these areas to get in contact with me as I would like to find any living relitives. There is a David Reid on on of the marrige certificates as a witness but I cant trace him. Thanks Thomas Reid married Annie Bremner 27th Oct 1875 They had 4 children Elisabeth Jane,Hugh,James.Hugh married Robina Henderson. Thomas Reid married Agnes Calder 20th Dec 1840 in Duddindston. Agnes died in 1887 at the royal asylum morningside, Edinburgh. |
